Kansas State Fair Grandstand is an American State Fair that is held every year in Hutchinson, Kansas. The event starts on the Friday following Labor Day in September and continues for ten days. The event is also known as the largest single fair in the state that attracts approximately 350,000 people annually. The Kansas City Fair was previously held in Topeka and Wichita during the 19th century. On January 18, 1873, the first fair association was made when the Reno County Agricultural Society was created. The society hosted a fair on September 23-24, 1873, held in a small wooden livery stable.

The current State Fair had its beginning on February 7, 1901. On April 24, 1901, the board of directors met to elect officers. Central Kansas Fair Association was the first name that they chose. An act of the state legislature recognized the Central Kansas Fair in 1903. In 1928, the Cottonwood Court was built and underwent a major renovation in 2003. Originally, the site was used as an automobile building that later became the Commercial Building and the Cottonwood Court.

In 1930, the Grandstand was built. The grandstand entertainment hosts events at the Kansas State Fair almost every evening. They present truck and tractor pulls, auto races, demolition derby, and music concerts for their fans.
