Spectrum Center is located at 333 E Trade St, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. It is an indoor arena with a seating capacity of 19,077 for basketball, 4,000–7,000 for concerts, and expandable to 20,200 for college basketball games. The inauguration date of the arena was October 21, 2005, with a construction cost of $260 million. This arena is owned by the city of Charlotte and operated by Hornets Sports & Entertainment. It hosts music shows, wrestling events, television shows, conventions, football games, family productions, circuses, and much more. The architect of the arena is designed by Ellerbe Becket, Freelon Group Inc., and Odell Associates, Inc. The venue was formerly known as Charlotte Bobcats Arena and Time Warner Cable Arena. The Spectrum Center is home to the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.
