The North Island Credit Union Amphitheater is a venue located in 2050 Entertainment Cir, Chula Vista, California. Owned and operated by Live Nation Entertainment, the venue opened to the general public on July 21, 1998. It has a seating capacity of 20,500 and was formerly known as Coors Amphitheater (1998-2008), Cricket Wireless (2008-2012), Sleep Train Amphitheater (2012-2017), and Mattress Firm Amphitheater (2017-2018). The Amphitheater is regarded as one of the largest concert venues in the San Diego area.
The North Island Credit Union Amphitheater hosts music concerts and other local events providing excellent quality seating arrangements along with a friendly environment and the sound system. The North Island Credit Union Amphitheater was previously developed into an industrial park before rebuilding it to the current state of an amphitheater. Its first sell-out concert was performed by the Spice Girls. Later on, several famous artists played their shows at the venue and attracted a significant number of fans towards the amphitheater.
