Mizzou Arena is an indoor arena that is located on the campus of the University of Missouri at One Champion Drive, Columbia, Missouri. The venue serves as the home field to the men's and women's basketball teams. The construction of the arena began on September 21, 2002, costing a total amount of $99.5 million. Mizzou Arena opened for the general public on October 13, 2004, replacing the Hearnes Center as the indoor facility of the school. The venue provides top facilities for the athletic teams, such as; offices for the Men's and Women's basketball programs, locker rooms, gym, pool, and an academic center. The place underwent renovations in 2014, which includes an upgrade to the locker rooms and installment of a new soccer board. The seating capacity of the venue is about 15,061. Briefly, the arena was also known as Paige Sports Arena. Mizzou Arena is owned and operated by the University of Missouri. The architect of the venue was designed by CDFM2, HOK Sport (now Populous).
