Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center, formerly known as the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, is located at 14 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, New York. The venue has a seating capacity of 3,050 people at a time. It was opened to the general public in the 1970s. The center is operated by Mid-Hudson Civic Center. The center includes the Mair Hall that serves as a concert and convention hall ( seating capacity of 3,050) along with the McCann Ice Arena which is an ice skating venue. It is a dual-venue that is a private, not-for-profit community organization crafted to offer cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities to the Hudson Valley.

The dual-venue hosted a variety of events such as recreational and competitive figure skating and ice hockey, open ice slots, group and private lessons, public skating sessions, private parties, wrestling games, and much more.

Some notable events held at the convention center are Headbangers Ball Tour (Anthrax, Exodus, and Helloween performed), SnoCore Tour (System of a Down, Mr. Bungle, Incubus, and Puya played), WWF Monday Night Raw, etc. Some top wrestlers that fought wrestlings at this venue are WWF Champion Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, André the Giant, Bret Hart, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, along with a sold-out performance by Pete Seeger, Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view event, and much more.
