loanDepot Park is a baseball park which is located at 501 Marlins Way, Miami, Florida, United States. The park was opened to the general public on March 5, 2012, with a seating capacity of around 36,742 overall, 37,442 (standing room), and 34,000 (Football). The stadium is owned by Miami-Dade County and operated by Miami Marlin LP. The architecture of the building was designed by Populous (formerly HOK Sport). The park was also the certified greenest MLB park by LEEDS in 2012.
From 2014 through 2016, the park hosted Miami Beach Bowl. The second round of the “2013 World Baseball Classic” was also hosted by this arena. The loanDepot Park has also hosted the “2017 Major League Baseball All-Star Game” and the first round of the “2017 World Baseball Classic”. Annual stadium event for Joel Osteen Ministries was held at the ballpark where Joel and Victoria Osteen came on to the stage. It was an “America’s Night of Hope.” An all-star race car competition “Race of Champions” was hosted by the venue on January 21-22, 2017. Guns N’ Roses performed at the ballpark on August 8, 2017.
