Its broke ground in 2004 and opened to the general public in 2005. The venue has a seating capacity of around 20,500. The stadium is owned by Frisco, Texas, and operated by Frisco Soccer, LP. The architecture of Toyota Stadium was designed by HKS, Inc with a construction cost of $80 million. It underwent renovation in 2018, with a renovation cost of $55 million.
