Erie Insurance Arena is located at 809 French Street, Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. The architecture of the arena is designed by Heidt, Evans & Salata while the renovation architecture was designed by Sink Combs Dethlefs. The venue is named in honor of the Erie Insurance Group (having the naming rights). It was opened to the public on June 7, 1983, with a construction cost of $9.3 million.
