National Ballet of Canada - Adieu

The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts is a theatre located in Toronto, Ontario. It has a seating capacity of 2,071 and an opera house type venue. The Canadian Opera House Corporation owns the theatre. It opened for the public on June 14, 2006, and the architecture of the building is done by Diamond+Schmitt Architects, which Jack Diamond headed. The interior design of the theatre includes a unique glass staircase. The land on which the Centre is situated was a gift from the Government of Ontario. The venue serves as a home to the National Ballet of Canada and the Canadian Opera Company (COC).

The Centre was constructed on a limited budget. The curtain walls and the City Room glass walls are both held by steel fixtures. All but the west side of the venue are clad in dark bricks. Some of the national premieres performed by the Canadian Opera Company include in the Centre are Lady Macbeth, From the House of the Dead, Maria Stuarda, Love From Afar, A Florentine Tragedy/Gianni Schicchi, Semele, and Hadrian. Some of the popular presentations given by Dancap Productions at the theatre include Miss Saigon, South Pacific, Next to Normal, Colm Wilkinson in Concert, and Come Fly Away.
