The Denver Coliseum is an indoor arena located at 4600 Humboldt Street, Denver, Colorado. The venue was opened for the general public on December 1951. The Coliseum has a seating capacity of around 10,500 (Concert), 9,340 (Basketball), and 8,140 (Hockey). The Denver Coliseum is owned by City and County of Denver whereas operated by the Division of Arts and Venues. The venue, when opened, was home to the National Western Stock Show.

The arena hosts multiple kinds of events which include ice shows, commencement ceremonies, rodeos, circuses, motor shows, motivational seminars, concerts, trade shows, dances, and exhibits. Some well-known events that the arena has hosted are CHSAA high school volleyball, Disney on Ice, Spirit and Basketball playoffs and championships, Christian Events, The Denver March Pow Wow, Fossil, Jewellery Show, Gem, and cheerleading competitions. Celebrities and artists who have performed at the arena are Frank Sinatra on May 1, 1975, Elvis Presley on April 1956, 1970, and1973, along with The Grateful Dead on November 20 and 21, 1973, The Who on December 4 and 5, 1971, etc. Securing the title of House Band, Santana played at the venue six times.
