The Saenger Theater is located at 118 South Palafox Place, Pensacola, Florida. It is owned by the City of Pensacola and operated by SMG. The venue was opened for the general public on April 1925. A total amount of $500,000 was spent on the construction of the theater. The theater was closed in 1975 but was reopened in the year 1981. Saenger Theater went through the renovations costing $15 million and was reopened on March 26, 2009. It has a seating capacity of 1,641 people at a time.

The venue is a historic theater made into the "A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture," published by the University of Florida Press. It also placed into the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The architecture of the theater was designed by Emile Weil in the Spanish Baroque architecture style.

The venue hosts a diverse range of entertainments such as silent motion pictures and pictures with sound named as Vaudeville along with Broadway shows. Dance performances are also held at the venue.
