Portland Memorial Coliseum is an indoor arena which is located at 300 N Winning Way, Portland, Oregon. The venue was the former home to the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association and Portland Winter Hawks (a junior ice hockey team). It was inaugurated on November 3, 1960, with a construction cost of $8 million. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,888 people at a time. The venue is owned by the City of Portland and operated by RCM. The architecture of Memorial Coliseum was designed by Owings, Skidmore, and Merrill. Renovation design of the venue was done by Merryman Barnes Architects with a renovation cost of around $5 million.

In 1961, The Rose Festival Queen's coronation was held in the venue. The Beatles played two shows on August 22, 1965. The famous band Led Zeppelin also performed here on November 11, 1970, and again on April 27, 1973, in front of around 13,000 fans. Two popular concerts by Bee Gees musical group were also hosted by the venue on 17th and 18th July 1979. Before winning the Democratic Nomination, President Barack Obama spoke at the arena on March 21, 2008. The Memorial Coliseum hosted the final 2007 Davis Cup Tennis between Russia and the USA from November 30 to December 2.
