The Gillioz Theatre is a historic theatre that is located in Springfield, Missouri. The venue was built by M. E. Gillioz of Monett, Missouri, breaking ground in 1926; it was built with concrete and steel. The architectural style of the building was of Spanish Revival and Mission Revival. It was done by Larsen, L.P.; Jacobs, and Fred. The original cost of the theatre was $300,000. The Gillioz Theatre was inaugurated on October 11, 1926. It was initially opened as a transition theater having a Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ for silent movies. The venue also had a stage for live performances. The pipe organ was sold when the theatre closed in 1980.

The Gillioz Theatre is mainly a concert venue having a sound system installed in 1928. The venue is well-known for hosting a wide variety of entertainment, including George Clinton, Parliament-Funkadelic, Dave Chappelle, Elvis Costello, Kacey Musgraves, and Billy Ray Cyrus. The theatre has a general capacity of 1,300, with 1,015 for reserved seating. The venue was named on the National Register of Historic Places in the year 1991.

The Gillioz Theatre hosted the premieres of three movies are “Swing Your Lady” with Humphrey Bogart and Penny Singleton (January 14, 1938), “The Winning Team” with Ronald Reagan (June 6, 1952), and “She’s Working Her Way Through College,” which starred Ronald Reagan (July 4, 1952).
