The United Palace Theater is a non-profit cultural and arts performing center along with a church. The center is located at Broadway, Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City. The United Palace was built and opened to the general public in 1930. It was initially used as a movie palace. Thomas W. Lamb, who designed around 300 theaters in his career, was the architect of the United Palace Theater. The venue has a seating capacity of 3,293. The theater is under the ownership of the United Christian Evangelistic Association. The theater is currently used as a church, performing arts center, concert hall, and cinema. The United Palace Theater is the fourth largest theater in Manhattan.

The venue has also served host to various films and television which include the Netflix series, Luke Cage episode “Blowin Up the Spot,” the NBC-TV series Smash, and the HBO series Crashing episode 2.4, “Porter Got HBO.” Apart from this, the theater also hosted a series of rock concerts featuring some well known artists and bands such as Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Bob Dylan, Adele, Eddie Vedder, Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, Jackson Browne, Beck, Sigur Ròs, Alex Campos, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy and the Stooges, The Black Crowes, Allman Brothers Band, Modest Mouse, Kraft Werk, and Arcade Fire.
