Beaver Stadium is a college football stadium located at the Pennsylvania State University, 127 Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, Pennsylvania. Since 1960, the stadium has been serving as a home field to the Penn State Nittany Lions of the Big Ten Conference. The venue was also the site of university commencements until 1984. It opened on September 17, 1960, with a construction cost of around $1.6 million. It has an official seating capacity of approximately 106,572 people. The venue is under the ownership of Pennsylvania State University. Over the years, the stadium went through multiple renovations in 1984, 1985, 2001, 2008, and 2014. In a USA Today poll 2016, Beaver Stadium was voted as the number-one football stadium in college football. Michael Baker Jr., Inc designed the architecture of the venue.

Beaver Stadium hosted its first game on November 6, 1893, played between Penn State and the Western University of Pittsburgh, where Penn State won by 32-0. On September 29, 2018, the highest record crowd of 110,889 people witnessed Penn State's 27-26 loss to Ohio State. Lions defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes On October 8, 2005, in front of 109,839 fans. Penn State hosted the Happy Valley Jam, the inaugural concert held in the stadium, on July 8, 2017. Blake Shelton, a country music superstar, headlined this concert along with Chris Young, David Ray, Big & Rich, and Adley Stump.
