Legends Casino Hotel opened for the public in May 1998. In March 2017, the expanded gaming floor along with the hotel opened. The event center is under the ownership of the Yakama Nation and is operated by the same. Yakama Nation is a result of the Treaty of 1855. It was established having 14 bands and tribes such as Pisquouse, Yakama, Wenatchapam, Klinquit, Wish Ham, See ap Cat, and the Shyiks.

Legends Casino originally offered Class III Table Games along with Keno. It also offered Class II Gaming such as Pull Tabs, Poker, and Class II Machines. The venue serves as home to more than 1,500 slot machines, a poker room, 19 table games, and over 200 guest rooms to stay and play in an alcohol-free environment. Being home to over 1,000 hottest slots, the event center includes craps, roulette, Spanish 21, blackjack, pai gow, or poker. The casino owns the latest machines on the main gaming floor that features a cash-in/ticket-out option.
