Michelob ULTRA Arena, formerly known as the Mandalay Bay Events Center, is a luxury casino and resort, located at 3950 South Las Vegas, Nevada. The arena hosts a variety of entertainment, sports and music events. The Events Center is the home arena for Las Vegas Aces (women’s professional basketball team). It was opened to the public on March 2, 1999, with a construction cost of $950 million. It has a seating capacity of 12,000 along 3,209 rooms and 135,000 sq ft (12,500 m2) total gaming space. It is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International. Michelob ULTRA Arena was renovated on April 22, 2016. The architecture of the venue was designed by kai-juba architects.

The arena was inaugurated with a grand opening concert by Bob Dylan. High-profile boxing matches were hosted in Mandalay Bay including Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah Light welterweight title unification on July 23, 2011. The famous rock band Journey had also performed in Michelob ULTRA Arena in December 2000. The 25th Billboard Latin Music Awards was held in Mandalay bay events center on April 26, 2018. The WNBA All-Star Game event held recently on July 26 and 27, 2019.
