The Grand 1894 Opera House is a historic performing arts theatre located in Galveston, Texas. The venue was built by Barnes & Palliser, while Frank Cox was the building's architecture in a Romanesque style. It was officially inaugurated on January 3, 1895, with the famous play entitled The Daughters of Eve. In 1993, the theatre was named "The Official Opera House of Texas" by the 73rd Texas Legislature. The venue has a seating capacity of 1,040.

The Grand 1894 Opera House has stood firm through notable hurricanes such as the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 and 1915, Hurricane Carla, and Hurricane Ike. Initially, the venue started as a major live performing arts theatre, but the space slowly evolved into a movie house for a period. It was closed in 1974, and the same year, the Galveston County Cultural Arts Council purchased the venue. The movie house was once again transformed into a theatre, renovated and restored to its original and former beauty.

The Grand 1894 Opera House was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 as "1894 Grand Opera House." On January 3, 2009, the Grand was reopened on its 114th anniversary.
