Amon G. Carter Stadium, also known as The Carter Stadium, is an open football stadium located within the campus of Texas Christian University at 2850 Stadium Drive, Fort Worth, Texas. The stadium is home to the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs Football Team and Marching Band. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 45,000 people. It first opened to the general public on October 11, 1930. The state of the art stadium was built with an overall construction cost of around $164 million. The Texas Christian University owns and operates the Amon G. Carter Stadium. William Jason HSK incorporation designed the architecture of the venue. The stadium was renovated in the year 2010-2012. It underwent expansion in the year 1948, 1985, and 1991.

The stadium also hosted the 2012 home season and Annual Armed Forces Bowl.
