The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts center located at 1601 Broadway, Kansas City, Missouri, United States. The place was opened on September 16, 2011, with a seating capacity of around 1,600 people in Helzberg Hall and 1,800 people in Muriel Kauffman Theatre. It is the home venue for the performance of Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Symphony, and Kansas City Ballet.

The architect of the center was designed by the award-winning Moshe Safdie. The idea of the performing arts center in Kansas City was discussed by Muriel McBrien Kauffman. She discussed it in 1994 with her family and community. On the opening day of this performing center, it served approximately 55,000 people that day. There is an outstanding exterior of two half symmetrical shells that are opened towards the south and designed like vertical and concentric arches.
The center has hosts some notable performances by well-known artists which include Willie Nelson (August 16, 2012), Ben Folds, Diana Krall, Idina Menzel, Joyce Didonato, Lily Tomlin, Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples, Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, and many others.
