The theatre is one of the four restored theaters on Hennepin Avenue including the State Theatre, Pantages Theatre, and the Shubert Theatre. It was initially known by the name of the Hennepin Theater. The theatre premiered many musicals including The 101 Dalmatians Musical and the Lion King.
