The Orpheum Theater is located at 409 South 16th Street in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, USA. It has a seating capacity of 2,600 with one screen. The venue is under the ownership of the Omaha Performing Arts and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 26, 1973. It is currently used as a Performing arts center. The architectural style of the venue is Italianate which was done by Holabird & Roche; Lawrie, Harry. The original architect of the theatre was done by Fisher & Lawrie. It was named after a local philanthropist, with a large portrait of him, John A. Creighton. The theatre underwent a significant renovation d $10 million in 2002. In October 2013, a digital electronic display board was added to the place. Again in 2017, the theatre underwent a major update of $3 million.
