Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre is another name to Count Basie Center for the Arts with former names Carlton Theater, Monmouth Arts Center, and Count Basie Theatre. It is located at 99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, New Jersey, USA. The venue is a landmarked performing center with a seating capacity of 1,568 patrons. It was opened to the general public on November 11, 1926. The performing center is under the ownership of Count Basie Theatre, Inc. Its name was changed to Count Basie Center for the Arts on May 14, 2018. The site was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 2009. The performing center underwent renovations in 2004 that included 12 wheelchair-accessible platforms, 1,008 orchestras, 402 balconies, and 121 loges.

The venue was inaugurated by Edward Franklin Albee II as one of a series of elaborate new Keith-Albee-Orpheum vaudeville theaters. The opening ceremony was accompanied by vaudeville acts and the feature film The Quarterback. There were 4000 attendees at the show. It was considered as one of the highlights of nightlife for many years in downtown Red Bank. Some headline performances held at the venue were by James Brown, Al Green, Olivia Newton-John, Cats, George Carlin, Tony Bennett, etc. A regular schedule part of the theater is the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Monmouth Symphony Orchestra.
