First National Bank Arena is an arena on Arkansas State University's campus in Jonesboro, Arkansas. It has a seating capacity of 10,475 for basketball and 10,743-11,704 for concerts and events. The arena is owned and operated by Arkansas State University. It broke ground in 1984 and opened for the public on July 11, 1987, with Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson's architecture design. The arena serves as the Red Wolves (NCAA) college basketball team's home field.
First National Bank Arena hosts a wide variety of events on an annual basis. The first-ever event to take place in the arena was a concert by country music legend George Strait. Since then, the venue has served as a host to a long list of superstars such as Garth Brooks, Alabama, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Jason Aldean.
First National Bank Arena underwent some additions and renovations in 2012. The original scoreboard was replaced with four 25' × 12' HD video boards, while the sound system (from 1987) was replaced with a 28-speaker sound system. Also, a new roof was installed the same year.
