The Smoothie King Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located at1501 Dave Dixon Dr, New Orleans, LA, USA. This arena has a seating capacity of 17,805 for concerts, 16,867 for NA basketball, 18,500 for College basketball/NBA playoff games, and 16,900 for Arena Football/Hockey. The site also includes 56 luxury suites. It was opened to the general public on October 29, 1999, with a construction cost of US$114 million. The ownership is held by the state of Louisiana and is operated by SMG. The architect of this building was designed by Arthur Q. Davis and Partners, Billes-Manning Architects along with Hewitt Washington and Associates.

This multi-purpose arena is used for hosting concerts, wrestling, sports, and other events. Since 2002, the venue is home to the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A major renovation was completed to the Smoothie King Center in 2013.

The notable events that took place here are the NBA All-Star Game (2008, 2014, 2017), NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, 2004 Women's Final Four, ArenaBowl XXI in 2007, 2008, 2012, WWF Royal Rumble, WWE Hell in a Cell, WrestleMania 34, Professional Bull Riders (PBR) , Bassmaster Classic XXXIII, etc.
