Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre, formerly known as Comfort Dental Amphitheatre and Coors Amphitheatre, is an outdoor concert venue located at 6350 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Greenwood Village, Colorado. The facility opened to the general public on June 11, 1988. It has a seating capacity of 18,000 with around 7,000 fixed seats. The site is under the ownership of the Museum of Outdoor Arts and operated by AEG Live. The venue underwent a $5 million renovation in 2013. The architecture of the venue was designed by landscape architect George Hargreaves. It was designed as a large-scale earth sculpture with rolling grassy slopes and amazing Rocky Mountain Views. The venue received a national award for its design from The American Institute of Architects (AIA), soon after its construction.
Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre is a unique venue for special events and top entertainment that range from business soirees and concerts to operas, graduation ceremonies, and weddings. A rock singer Dan Fogelberg hosted the first concert at the opening ceremony of the venue. Over the years, it has hosted world-class famous artists and bands including B.B. King, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Aldean PitbullSting, the Who, Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Prince, Tool, and a variety of other notable performers. This venue is also a famous place for hosting American Idol Live and America's Most Wanted Music Festival in 2013.
