Musician and producer Matteo Milleri (Italian-American, half of the duet Tale of Us, co-founder of Afterlife Records) goes by the moniker Anyma when working solo. The collaborations for Claire, the project's first extended play (EP), which came out in June 2021, were numerous. In addition, the EP included the first-ever full-length non-fiction music video. 
 
Anyma's second EP, Sentient, was published on Afterlife Records in 2021. Genesys, the project's first full-length album, was published in 2023. It had been expected to be published in October 2021. By utilizing cutting-edge technological tools, Anyma's live performances aim to provide an immersive auditory and visual experience that invites audience participation in creating and exploring digital art and music. 
 
The goal is to create an environment where the lines between the real and virtual worlds are less distinct and more seamlessly integrated. The album Genesys, recorded by Anyma and released on August 11, 2023, explores technology, the environment, humanity, and sustainability themes. Cassian, Chris Avantgarde, CamelPhat, Sevdaliza, and Grimes are all featured on the fourteen-track album. He used Genesys II to adopt it a year later.
