Arctic Monkeys is an English rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders, and Nick O'Malley. The record "Do I Wanna Know?" became a worldwide smash and helped propel the band to international prominence, propelling AM, their fifth studio album, to critical praise. It was number one on four different Billboard charts and went platinum in the United States. It was their third British Album of the Year award, this time at the 2014 Brit Awards.

Saturday at the 2022 Reading and Leeds Festival featured the band as one of the headliners, along with Bring Me the Horizon, Megan Thee Stallion, Rage Against the Machine, and Halsey. This was revealed on December 8, 2021. They launched their new single, "I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am," on August 23, 2022, at the Zurich Openair festival. The Car, their seventh studio album, was confirmed and released on October 21, 2022.

They've been nominated for the Mercury Prize six times (in 2007, 2013, 2018, and 2023) and for six Grammys. The band was confirmed as Friday night's headliners on the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2023 but unfortunately had to cancel.
