With Born Pink, they became the first female K-pop artists to top the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200. During 2024, BLACKPINK prioritised their solo accomplishments. Lisa succeeded after releasing her solo album Alter Ego and landing a role in The White Lotus, an HBO series. The Idol featured Jennie, and her album Ruby was well-received. A top-charting single by Rosé and Bruno Mars appeared on the charts, while Jisoo went on a solo tour around Asia after releasing her EP Amortage. These projects demonstrated their star power.

In 2025, the girl group BLACKPINK prepares to make a big return. They have announced a new album and will begin their world tour in Seoul on July 5th.
