William Sami Étienne Grigahcine (13 June 1986), better known by his stage name DJ Snake, is a French DJ and record producer who rose to worldwide prominence in 2013 with the release of the instrumental track "Turn Down for What" (with Lil Jon). As a teenage graffiti artist, he adopted the moniker " Snake" and stayed with it when he started DJing at fourteen. 

DJ Snake has worked with some outstanding musicians during his career. Along with working with Lil Jon on the certified platinum track "Turn Down for What," he created Lady Gaga's Grammy-nominated album Born This Way in 2013. DJ Snake included Justin Bieber on his hit "Let Me Love You." He has also teamed with Major Lazer, Cardi B, and Selena Gomez.

The Latin Pop Songs, Dance Club Songs, and Hot Dance/Electric Songs charts, among other Billboard charts, show DJ Snake's singles. He also received two Billboard Music Awards for Lean On and "Turn Down for What," Top Dance/Electronic Song. 2018 saw him launch Premiere Classe, his record label. Tracks by Mercer, SAYMYNAME, and Gammer have been made available and released by the label.
