Tim Piontek (February 12, 1980) is a German house music producer and DJ. He is professionally known by his stage name, Purple Disco Machine and was born in Dresden, East Germany. In 1996, he began producing with Cubase and several synths; about the same time, he was introduced to house music in Dresden's club scene. He got into the DJ game and released some original material in 2012.

Purple Disco Machine became known around the world in 2017 when his remix of the song My House helped bring disco and funk sounds back to dance floors. His real name is Tino Piontek, and he comes from Germany. He began DJing in clubs as a teenager, loving old-school disco and funk music.
