Bobby Bones (April 2, 1980) is an American radio and television personality—bones' ambition to work in radio dates back to when he was about five years old. In 2014, at the age of 49, his mother passed away following a long battle with addiction. He saw the radio as a means to escape his impoverished upbringing. Bones went to Henderson State University's KSWH-FM "The Pulse" for his radio debut when he was seventeen. 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Henderson.

Bones traveled to Norway in June 2019 to film an episode of Bear Grylls's Running Wild. January 14, 2020, was the airdate of the episode. He was a judge on Who Will Rock You, Topgolf's original series. With BBC Studios, he inked a comprehensive deal. In 2021, the National Geographic Channel debuted Breaking Bobby Bones. Bones learns a new skill from a "real" person in each episode, guides them through a "real" career or sport, and then gets feedback on his actions.

Every week, Bones does something extra special for his guests to help them achieve their life goals, professional aspirations, or other objectives. New Year's Eve Live: Bones and Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith co-hosted Nashville's Big Bash on December 31, 2021. It aired live on CBS from Nashville. The 2022 USA Network competition show Snake in the Grass was hosted by Bones.
