Francesco Stephen Castelluccio is a singer professionally known by his stage name, Frankie Valli. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and at the age of seven, his mother took him to watch Frank Sinatra at the Paramount Theater in New York City, and the experience motivated him to pursue a career in singing. His stage name was inspired by "Texas" Jean Valli, one of his earliest favorite singers. 

Before he could make a living from his music, he worked as a barber. On September 10, 2016, as part of the BBC Proms in the Park, Valli and the Four Seasons played with the BBC Concert Orchestra in Hyde Park. After his touring band since 2003, The Modern Gentlemen, split off to form its act, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons continued their tours in 2018 and 2019. All touring plans for 2020 were canceled due to the pandemic. 

In October 2023, Valli announced that this tour would be his farewell and that his retirement would effectively conclude The Four Seasons' 64-year career. The tour resumed the following summer, with concerts set through October 2024. Touch of Jazz, Valli's 12th studio album, was released in June 2021, his first album in five years.
