MORA made its metal debut on November 23, 2007, playing in front of their hometown fans after only a few weeks of rehearsal. Then there was Zli on drums, Scavenger on bass, Jupol on backing vocals and guitar, and Nazgul on guitar to rock the show.

After that, MORA played a few shows around Slovenia and independently released their debut demo, "Slaughter Begins." The summer of 2008 saw the band appearances at two festivals: Metalcamp and MetalMania Open Air. Both times, Shk, the replacement drummer, filled in for Zli, who had to quit the band owing to scheduling constraints.

Nazgul left the band after Metal Mania, so Mraz and Scavenger took over on guitar, and Mortaas joined on bass. Jupoll has also stepped down from his position as guitarist to concentrate only on his vocals. Since their lineup change, the band's sound has become more complicated and technical (black/death metal).

The members of MORA mostly concentrate on creating new music seen in their first EP, EBOLA. Jupol departed the band following their performance at WinterCamp in Bohinj, and Mraz followed suit shortly after that. As of late, Shk has been active on Obnounce. Jupol has started a new black metal group. Mraz is now in the studio recording with his new band, Doomed, an old-school death metal outfit. Little Ann and Mortals are still engaged in play.
