Stjepan Hauser (June 15, 1986) is a Croatian cellist who goes by the stage name HAUSER. Along with Luka Šulic, he was a member of 2CELLOS and still performs alone. It was in Pula, Croatia, where Hauser's musical training began. He was born into a musical family. His mum is a percussionist, and the Pula-based journalist is his sister.

Hauser has debuted at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, and the Southbank Centre, among many others, and has played in over 40 countries.

Mstislav Rostropovich selected Hauser to perform at Florence's Palazzo Vecchio gala in October 2006. Hauser has been asked to play at many European festivals after this visit. 

During the 2009 International Holland Music Sessions, he was selected to take part in the "New Masters on Tour" performance series, which showcases emerging performers in esteemed venues around Europe.

In Hauser's hometown of Croatia, on the Istrian peninsula, a performance of the first, Hauser: Alone Together, took place at the Arena Pula in 2020. The second, with the same name, occurred at the Krka Waterfalls in central Croatia's Krka National Park. 

In 2020, on June 15, the artist's 34th birthday, the second video was published. Game of Thrones fans may recognize Fort Lovrijenac in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the third Hauser: Alone Together was recorded. Hauser Classic was set to be released in October 2020 as a special 2-disc edition. The three videos from Hauser: Alone Together are included on a DVD.

On October 27, 2020, the album Hauser Plays Morricone debuted on YouTube.
