Matthew Steven Maeson (January 17, 1993) is U.S. national singer. He is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was born to “musicianaries” parents who ultimately started playing in Christian metal bands. Maeson was prohibited from listening to secular rock music on the radio until he hit his teenage years. He became addicted to drugs when he was 19 and later ended up spending his time in jail.

He got his big break with the song “Cringe” in 2016. His tunes blend rock and folk, and his lyrics often explore themes of hardship, love, and personal growth. His deep voice and real song words have many fans.
