Creed became one of the biggest rock bands in the world in 1999 when their second album, Human Clay, was released. That album had massive hits like “Higher” and “With Arms Wide Open,” which played nonstop on the radio. “With Arms Wide Open” even won a Grammy Award. The band’s sound mixed powerful guitar riffs, emotional lyrics, and big, anthemic choruses. Their music felt deep and spiritual and connected with millions of fans. The lead singer, Scott Stapp, had a strong voice that gave their songs a bold, dramatic feel.

The band was formed in Florida in the mid-1990s. Their debut album, My Own Prison, was released in 1997 and was also a huge success. Later, they released Weathered in 2001, which included the hit song “My Sacrifice.”
