Steve Tyrell (December 19, 1944) was born as Stephen Louis Bilao III, in Palo Pinto County, Texas. He is an American singer and record producer. His music style is defined as pop, rock, and jazz. Steve Tyrell began his career in 1970. He produced the Rod Stewart album Stardust: The Great American Songbook, Volume III, and won a Grammy Award in 2004. Steve Tyrell is also the host of a jazz radio program on KKJZ, aired from Los Angeles. Steve Tyrell was married to the late Stephanie Tyrell, who was his long-time partner.

Steve moved to New York City at the age of 18. He was assigned the position of head of A&R and promotion at Scepter Records. When he turned 19 years old, Steve began producing with music greats famous as Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Steve has spent about four decades as a songwriter, performer, and producer. This made him lend his musical expertise to over 40 films and several hit television shows, series, and other projects.
