Shane Michael Gillis (December 11, 1987) is an American stand-up comedian, sketch comedy writer, radio personality, and podcaster. He was born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and went to Trinity High School near Camp Hill. Gillis later attended college and graduated in 2006. He enrolled at West Point but dropped out before the end of his first year. He later attended Elon University and played football for a year before graduating from West Chester University. Following graduation, he spent six months in Spain teaching English.

Gillis began doing stand-up comedy in 2012. He played frequently in Harrisburg and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He moved to Philadelphia to advance his profession. He finished third in Helium Comedy Club's annual "Philly's Phunniest" contest in 2015, then won the tournament the following year. Gillis was awarded an "Up Next" comedian by Comedy Central in 2019 while performing at Clusterfest. Gillis was selected "2019's Stand-Up Comedian of the Year" at Theinterrobang's Sixth Annual Comedy Awards, which took place in January 2020.

Shane and comedian John McKeever started the web series Gilly and Keeves in December 2020, featuring comic pieces starring Gillis and McKeever, such as "ISIS Toyota," "Uncle Daycare," and "Trump Speed Dating."

Gillis' debut live comedy special, Shane Gillis: Live in <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/regions/austin">Austin</a>, was made public online on September 7, 2021. It was voted second in the best 20 comedy specials of 2021 by the comedy website The Laugh Button. Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs, the second Shane Gill's live comedy special, was published on Netflix on September 5, 2023.
