Bonnie Lynn Raitt (November 8, 1949) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter born in Burbank, California. Capitol Records issued a greatest hits album by Bonnie Raitt in 2003 titled The Best of Bonnie Raitt. Nick of Time, Luck of the Draw, Longing in Their Hearts, Road Tested, Fundamental, and Silver Lining are just a few of the Capitol albums represented here. Toots and the Maytals' True Love won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2004, featuring a guest appearance by Raitt. A 21st studio album by Raitt was titled Just Like That, as was revealed in 2022. The album came out on April 22, 2022, and a nationwide tour began that same day; it lasted until November of that same year, for the lead single, Raitt covered "Made Up Mind" by The Bros., a Canadian roots duet. The lead single is Landreth. At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, held in February 2023, the album's title track took home the trophy for Song of the Year. The song also took up the trophy for Best American Roots Song. Brownie, a modified Fender Stratocaster, is Raitt's main touring instrument. In 1996, this idea formed the backbone of a distinctive model.
