Marisela Hernandez Jimenez (April 24, 1966), better known simply as Marisela, is a Mexican-American singer who has forever changed the face of Latin music with her powerful voice and emotionally resonant songs. She was born in Los Angeles, California and for decades, Marisela has been a respected figure in ranchera, mariachi, and romantic balladry.

Marisela came onto the music scene in the 1980s with a voice that could sing about love, heartache, and emotion like no one else. Her strong, heartfelt vocals won her listeners throughout Latin America. The success of her singles "Completely Tuya," "Enamorada y Herida," and "Mi Problema" propelled her to fame.
