Mana is a Mexican pop-rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Fher Olvera, Alex González, Sergio Vallín, and Juan Calleros. In 1986, the members of Maná came together to establish the band. Released on A&M Records on May 12, 1987, the album went by the name "Maná" by the band. After signing with PolyGram, Maná left the label dissatisfied before releasing their second album, Falta Amor, and signing with Warner Music instead.

On September 23, 2021, at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards, Billboard and Telemundo revealed that Maná would receive the Icon Award. The band also revealed that they would perform a new version of the classic "El Reloj Cuc" at the awards presentation, featuring 12-year-old singer Mabel.

Maná established the Selva Negra Foundation (or "Black Jungle Foundation") in 1995. Important environmental protection projects are funded and supported under the leadership of Mari González and Augusto Benavides. During the World Health Day 2008 celebration at PAHO's headquarters in Washington, DC on April 7, Maná and the Selva Negra Foundation were honored with the "Champions of Health" title by the Pan American Health Organization.
