WWE Money in the Bank is a professional wrestling event held yearly since 2010 by the American corporation WWE, the world's largest professional wrestling organization. The money in the bank ladder match inspires the event's name. 

It's a multi-person ladder match where the goal is to get a briefcase containing a championship match contract. The briefcase may be "cashed in" at any time and place the following year. Beginning with the 2014 event, viewers could watch the proceedings live online. 

It has grown in stature to become one of the "Big Five" yearly events—the others being WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble—the corporation hosts. Originally scheduled for July, the event shifted to June from 2014–2018, May from 2019–2020, and finally back to July 2020. This was WWE's event calendar structure from 2010–2013.  

The first brand extension phase of WWE and the events in 2010 and 2011 included SmackDown and Raw brands wrestlers. After that, in August of 2011, the initial brand split concluded. 

In London, England, in 2023, it was the first time it was hosted outside of the US; the first time it was held in Canada was in 2024. Although the titular contest was formerly reserved for male wrestlers, it was the first event to offer a women's version in 2017. Subsequent events have had two matches, one for men and one for women.
