The All Things Go Music Festival occurs outside Columbia, Maryland, near Baltimore. Originally established in 2014 under the name All Things Go Fall Classic, the festival is now produced by the same firm. In 2015, the event occurred at Washington, D.C.'s Union Market; in 2016, it moved to Yards Park, which could accommodate 15,000 people.

After relocating to Columbia in 2021, the Merriweather Post Pavilion, which can accommodate 20,000 people, has been the festival's site ever since. Many have pointed to the festival's rosters that feature female artists and its welcoming attitude toward LGBT performers.

This year's festival lineup included Young Thug, SABA, Betty Who, Foster the People, and SABA. Headlining the 2018 edition were Maggie Rogers, Billie Eilish, and Carly Rae Jepsen; the lineup was handpicked by British singer LPX (Lizzy Plapinger) and included an all-women lineup. 

Plapinger highlighted the chance to address the gender gap as a potential benefit of the event. One of the event's co-hosts, the Women's March, helped lead a conversation about gender inequality. An entire day of the 2019 All Things Go Fall Classic will be devoted to female performers. As an ancillary partner, the female-focused organization She is the Music.
