Originally formed 2003 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga (or just Banda MS) is a Mexican banda group. Mazatlán, Sinaloa is indicated by the MS. From 2003 to 2007, Julión lvarez was the lead singer for Banda MS. He then pursued a solo career.

Their single "Solo Con Verte" topped the Monitor Latino chart for twelve weeks, earning the band a prize on February 12th, 2016. The Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie was the venue for the award ceremony and the group's first performance on their tour across the United States.

Alan Ramirez, the lead singer of the band Banda MS, was shot in the neck in Mexico City in July 2016. His wife was staying at a nearby hotel. Oswaldo Silva, a member of the band, addressed the media and said that they did not believe the shooter intended to kill Ramirez or that the killing was drug-related. They also denied any involvement in the drug trade. Ramirez suffered only minor injuries.
