Born on the 26th of August, 1986, Justin Lewis Scott, also known as Big KRIT, is a rapper and record producer who hails from America. Big KRIT started his career as a musician at the age of 19 in the year 2005. His stage name is a backronym Big KRIT, KRIT stands for ‘King Remembered in Time.’ At the beginning of his career, he released numerous mixtapes with DJ Wally Sparks called “Hood Fame,” and with DJ Breakem Off called “The Last King.” In May of 2010, Big KRIT released ‘K.R.I.T Wuz Here’ which garnered him praises from critics. He even partook in 2010’s ‘The Smokers Club Tour’ along with rappers such as Smoke DZA and Curren$y. Big KRIT gained recognition soon after signing a contract with Def Jam Recordings. He then went on to release his singles called “Country Shit,” which feature rappers like Ludacris and Bun B. Big KRIT released his debut studio album in June of 2012 called “Live from the Underground” which reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart. His second album, called “Cadillactica” also debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart. In 2016 he went on to launch his own recording company called Multi Alumni, under which he released his third album, “4eva is a Mighty Long Time” in 2017. As of 2019, Big KRIT has released his fourth album, ‘K.R.I.T. is Here.’
