Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a four-day annual music festival in the U.S. established and developed by AC Entertainment and Superfly Presents. Great Stage Park, located on a 700-acre (280 ha) farm in Manchester, Tennessee, has been the site of the event since its inaugural year in 2002. The event usually starts on the second Thursday in June and continues for four days. 

The term " Bonnaroo " was chosen because of its literal meaning and in recognition of the rich New Orleans musical heritage that the founders had experienced while in college. Dr. John, an R&B musician from New Orleans, made Bonnaroo famous with his 1974 album Desitively Bonnaroo. It was revealed in 2019 that Live Nation purchased Superfly's stake in Bonnaroo following a record-breaking festival sell-out.

A few days before the 2021 event was supposed to happen, the stage area, campsites, and tollbooth area were all inundated with heavy rain from Hurricane Ida, rendering the ground unfit for car traffic. As a result, the event had to be canceled. In May 2022, it was announced that the event, along with Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music, would be exclusively streamed on Hulu.
