O'Shea Jackson Sr. (June 15, 1969) is an American film producer, rapper, actor, and songwriter born in Los Angeles, California. He is professionally known as Ice Cube. When he was 16 years old, Ice Cube started rapping with the group C.I.A., but he quickly switched to the up-and-coming N.W.A. On N.W.A.'s 1988 self-titled debut album, he served as lead rapper and primary ghostwriter.

The first episode of Ice Cube's T.B.S. sitcom, Are We There Yet? aired on June 2, 2010. The story follows a family as they adjust to the arrival of Terry Crews' character as the matriarch's new spouse. The show was renewed on August 16 for six seasons and 90 episodes. Tyler Perry is also responsible for Cube's introduction to T.B.S. Instead, Cube and Elmo shared the spotlight as guests on the PBS children's show Sesame Street in 2014.

Cube, Snoop Dogg, E-40, and Too Short established the rap supergroup Mt. Westmore in 2020. On June 7, 2022, they unveiled their first record to the world. After declining a pandemic vaccination in October 2021, Ice Cube bowed out of a co-starring role with Jack Black in the comedy picture Oh Hell No (retitled Stepdude). He would have made $9 million off of the project.
