Suicideboys became known in 2015 when their underground rap music blew up online. The group comprises two cousins from New Orleans, Ruby da Cherry and Slick Sloth. Their music is dark, emotional, and heavy. They rap about pain, mental health, and real-life struggles. Their early EP series, Kill Yourself, helped them gain a strong fanbase. Their sound is a mix of trap, punk, and horrorcore, which makes them different from most other rap artists.

They kept growing by staying true to their unique style. In 2018, they released their first full album, I Want to Die in New Orleans, which reached the Billboard charts. Some of their most popular songs are "Paris," "Carrollton," and "Kill Yourself Part Three." Even though they don’t get much radio play, they have millions of fans and sell out big shows. 

They’ve worked with artists like Pouya and Travis Barker. The cousins also started their label called G59 Records, where they support other underground rappers like Ramirez and Germ.

In 2024 and 2025, Suicideboys stayed very busy. They also went on their big Grey Day Tour in 2024, with shows all across the United States. Other G59 artists joined them, too. In 2025, they added more tour dates in Europe and South America.
