Usher Raymond IV (October 14, 1978) is an American dancer, singer, and songwriter. He is professionally known by his first name, Usher, and was born in Dallas, Texas. He was young most of his life and lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Usher's family thought that a bigger city would give him more chances to show off his ability, so they moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where it was easier for new singers to get started. He went to North Springs High School in Atlanta while he was there.

Usher revealed on September 4, 2020, that he would be the main act for 12 shows at the Colosseum at Caesars' Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show is set to start in 2021 and run until January 1, 2022. Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment will give $1 from each ticket sold to Usher's New Look charity. Bruno Mars and Usher stated onstage in December 2021 that Bruno Mars was leaving his residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

Usher's first solo song in over two years came out on March 17, 2023. It was called "GLU." It was made by Lil Jon, The Avila Brothers, and Sean Garrett, who have worked together before. It was the number-one song on the Adult R&B Chart, his seventh number-one one. Usher released the song "Good Good" with Summer Walker and 21 Savage on August 4, 2023.

In 2024, Usher released a new album and is back to what has made him famous. Producing high-quality pop hip-hop music. Usher also electrified at Super Bowl 58 halftime show with guest appearances from Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Lil John.
